cajnews.com.ng – The right Way to Overcome Android Applications Cannot Update. Why is my Android application not being updated regularly? Questions like this are sometimes spoken by many Android users who complain about applications that cannot be updated or updated. Applications that cannot be updated certainly make us sad and upset because we can’t get the latest features from the applications we use.
For example, like the bbm application, other users are already using version 2.7 while we are still using 1.7. Well, this is really very sad because in terms of appearance it is very different, looks old school and classic. Meanwhile, in terms of features we are also very behind.
The causes of applications that cannot be updated can vary. But if seen in general, this problem can occur due to a slow internet connection, insufficient space, or the large number of temporary files that have never been deleted, so an error occurs when updating.
Apart from these 3 things, there are still many other causes that prevent the application from being updated.
Overcoming Android Applications Cannot Be Updated
Every Android user has different causes, from one user to another. For this reason, I cannot say in detail what is the cause of the problem. To fix this, see some solutions for How to Overcome the Android Application Not being Updated below.
1. Clear Google Play Store cache and data
If you experience a failure while updating from Google Play, then you should clean the cache and data of the google play store.
By clearing the google play store of problems, it will usually bring the google play store back to normal. And of course, you can download or update the application easily and quickly.
To Clean Cache Files and application data, please refer to the steps below.
- Open the Settings menu »Additional Settings» Application Management »All» Search for the “Google Play Store” application » Then tap “Clear Cache” and “Clear Data”.
NOTE: I did the method above on a Smartphone with the Android Lollipop v5.1.1 operating system. If you are using a smartphone with a different system, you can adjust the method yourself.
2. Use the Clean Master Application
To clean and quickly delete temporary files on all caches on an Android smartphone, you should use the Clean Master application.
Download the application through a market store such as google play.
3. Reboot the Android Smartphone
Turn off your Android smartphone for 10 seconds, then turn it back on and try to update the application. Hopefully this will work.
There are still many other solutions that may be more effective than the solutions I have provided. If the solution above doesn’t help, try doing a factory reset.
#factory reset is the last way you can do, but before that you have to backup all your Android data.
You can do the simple method above on all Android devices such as Samsung Galaxy, Oppo, Realme, Lenovo, ASUS ZenFone, PadFone, ROG, Xiaomi, Vivo, HTC, LG, Motorola, OnePlus, Huawei, NEXUS, SONY, NOKIA, Coolpad, Honor, Infinix, Lava, Meizu, Blackberry, Nubia, Polytron, Himax, Sharp, Haier, Luna, Smartfren Andromax, ZTE, Acer, ADVAN, Axioo, Evercoss, Micromax, and others.
